Description
Aquarium Reef Pro 75, 4 stage RODI. (Available in store only, ask at your local aquarium supplier)
Aquarium reverse osmosis de-ionization system
This RODI unit comes complete with inline TDS monitor, and refillable DI cartridge.
These systems take standard 10″ cartridges and reduces ongoing cost, the refillable DI cartridge holds over twice the amount of resin compared to other systems.
4 Stage system:
- 1st Stage: Water passes through a first anti – sediment filter which eliminates sludge, sand and dust.
- 2nd Stage: The water passes through an activated carbon filter that removes Chlorine and other toxic chemicals, activated carbon has a high absorption rate.
- 3rd Stage: Pressurized water passes through the osmotic membrane which removes parasites, mineral salts and heavy metals.
- 4th Stage: Mixed bed resin, De-ionization (DI) an ion exchange process occurs that removes any remaining impurities, the TDS of the water should be zero after this stage.
