The problem with water is that you can’t see what’s in it, how do you know if its safe to drink, well the only sure way is to have the water tested. The video below demonstrates that just because water looks OK doesn’t mean it is, this test was conducted by one of our staff at a water treatment plant in semi rural NSW, Australia. The video is a visual demonstration of what you cant see, the two waters are from exactly the same source (ground/bore water), the one on the left has already been treated impurities removed! the one on the right is a fresh untreated sample straight from the bore and contains the groundwater contaminants.
There is a reason we made this video, I was working at a water treatment plant in Rural NSW, I was talking to one of the locals who was doing some work at the plant, he knew the water we were treating was groundwater and promptly declared “there’s nothing wrong with bore water people have been drinking it for years, never done anybody any harm” I took a fresh sample of the bore water and asked if he would drink it, he held it up to the light “looks OK” he smelled it “smells OK” then after his comprehensive testing was complete he declared “yep no problem I would drink that”, then I conducted this demonstration for him, and I asked would you drink it now, I think we all know what his answer was!
